Recently, Powerstar UPS power supply, with its innovation, perfect UPS redundant power supply solutions and efficient technical service, successfully won the bid for the government procurement project of the Beijing municipal public security bureau command center in terms of uninterrupted power supply and power supply circuit expansion. Powerstar will be granted to provide data service of the Beijing municipal public security bureau command center with a comprehensive, safe and reliable uninterrupted power supply.
To ensure that the Beijing municipal public security bureau command data center enjoys a power system of security and reliability, to guarantee a constant and stable operation in the command hall, 110 calling hall, technical support room, and the data equipment room on the second floor, and to take into account the necessary UPS loading capability in the network data room, Powerstar finally decided to adopt redundancy (1 + 1) weaver power solution. This solution is based on the principle of safety, energy-saving, environmental friendly, easy to operation and on the basis of deliberate consideration of the reliability, practicality and flexibility of the product. Every power road is supplied respectively by a 250 KVA tower frequency machine belonging to Powerstar EP series and 2 sets of 12V200AH sealed maintenance-free lead-acid battery. Each single machine configuration possess a backup time of no less than 30 minutes when fully loaded. The complete set of equipment room will be able to conduct monitoring and can issue alarm through text, telephone and remote audible and visual equipment.The already installed UPS monitoring software, which can be connected to the computer through the network, can realize remote monitoring of UPS equipment, log viewing, issuing alarm and viewing related statistics view which greatly benefits the regular operation, management and maintenance.
When in normal operation, the 2 sets of UPS in redundancy (1 + 1) weaver solution system, or simply UPS2 and UPS1, respectively,are loaded by their own loader. When any part of either of the UPS needs to be maintained or breaks down, power supply needed by the machine room will be provided by bypass power supply. Thus, it realizes the redundancy between different power supply machine and the point-to-point redundancy which in turn greatly increases the safety and reliability of the whole system.
